19.10.2025 Art in Motion event
Here are the two pieces in the exhibition. I thought my idea to display 'Celebration' on a turntable (see video) was fitting for the 'Art in Motion' theme.

Art After Dark - 10 November 2023
Really looking forward to this event, which started for the first time last year. This year, I will have three dot paintings on display/for sale: 1. Sky, Sea, Sand, 2. Sunflower, 3. Meadow Flowers. It should be a great evening and nice to have a chance to dress up.

Art After Dark - a dazzling event and a painting sold
The 'Art After Dark' event, hosted by the Arts Collective Whangamata, turned out to be a really successful evening. Held in the lounge of the Titoki Golf Club, it was a very glitzy evening, as many of the attendees adopted the dress code: Dazzle After Dark.
I exhibited three pieces of artwork. 'The 18th Hole, Titoki', painted especially for the event, and 'A New Approach' and 'Moonlight Glow' which both had an after dark vibe.
On the night, it was the 'Moonlight Glow' painting, with glow in the dark powders, that sold. A very enjoyable evening!

My latest artwork can now be revealed. This is the view from the club lounge of the 18th Hole at Titoki Golf Course, Whangamata. I painted it especially for the 'Art After Dark' event, which will be held there tonight.

The Mid Winter Mingle (Arts Collective Whangamata)
Scrumptious canapes, good music and of course the ART! This turned out to be a very enjoyable afternoon. (The bottom two photos show my entries 'The End Of An Era' and 'Dream Lamp').

Just seen this article in the local paper - was flattered that one of my sand paintings (bottom right photo) was used in the images from last years Mid Winter Mingle.

Midwinter Mingle - Sunday 16 August 2020
I joined the Arts Collective Whangamata last year and this will be the first event since the Covid-19 Lockdown. Really looking forward to getting back into the art/craft scene. Due to continuing house renovations, I have not yet had time to create anything new. So, the piece I have chosen to exhibit at this event is my double** award winning dot mosaic sculpture titled 'Inspiration'. It is a piece that I am really proud of and I think it shows my skill and ability well. I will be very sad to see it go, if it sells, as it is one of my favourite dot mosaic sculptures so far. I will just have to try and make time to create more, as the ideas are all waiting in my head.
