I have just submitted my application form for this exhibition - two of my acrylic with sand & glitter paintings: 'Sailing at Sunset' and 'The waves keep rolling in'.

Three new paintings completed

Here are my three entries for the Whangamata Arts Collective 'Touch of Spring' event at the end of this month. From left to right:
  • Sailing at Sunset, 50cm diameter
  • A Glimpse of Summer, 20cm x 40cm
  • "and the waves keep rolling in", 60cm x 60cm
They are all done with acrylic paint, coloured sand and fine glitter (unfortunately the glitter does not show in the photographs). There are larger individual photos under the 'GALLERY: PAINTING' tab.

The 18th Hole, Titoki

My latest artwork can now be revealed. This is the view from the club lounge of the 18th Hole at Titoki Golf Course, Whangamata. I painted it especially for the 'Art After Dark' event, which will be held there tonight.

The next Arts Collective event is the Mid Winter Mingle

I will be exhibiting two pieces at this event, held at the Whangamata Club, 404 Port Road, Whangamata. They are not my usual polymer clay mosaics but large sand paintings on canvas. One is titled 'Daybreak in Paradise' and the other, 'Moonlight Glow', incorporates photoluminescent powders so it will glow in the dark.

Exciting event coming up this Waitangi Weekend - 6 & 7 February 2021

In addition to my entry in the Harcourts Challenge, a sand painting titled 'Essence of Aotearoa', I will be having a space at the Big Arts Day Out showcasing my polymer clay mosaics and also demonstrating how I make my Swirl-StoNZ.
